Christmas

Christmas is celebrated on 25th of December, it is a festival of joy as it commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmas is celebrated by the especially Christians but nowadays it has become a secular festival. As Christmas in celebrated in winter season so it is the ideal time for the people to go out for socialization and they celebrate it by having cakes and exchanging gifts among themselves.

The main attraction of this festival for the kid is Santa Claus or the Christmas Father. His image was created by Thomas Nast. Santa Claus hands out gift to the children in the time of Christmas.

Another attraction of this festival is Christmas tree, it is one of the popular traditions associated. An angel or star is often seen at the top of the tree representing the Angel or Star of Bethlehem and it beautifully decorated.
